About Kool Kwilts
 

In my family quilts were made by the Grandmothers, then some of the Mothers and Aunts.  They were the "special" gift you received, once as a baby, then again as you got married or had a baby.  They were such coveted items and all the grandchildren cherished them. 

As I grew older and these quilts became well worn, I wanted more of them.  But my grandmothers were well past ninety and no longer able to quilt and the "mother" generation lost interest.  So...a few years ago I took my first "piecing" class and found that creating quilts was something I loved. 

Then....one day....instead of machine quilting my own quilt on my domestic machine, I took it to a longarmer...and oh my....I was hooked.  Within a few months, I purchased an A1 longarm machine and started this business.

Though I still work full time as an IT Manager, I am in pursuit of "the dream", quilting your beautiful quilts (and mine too)!
